The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to help shape and amplify the Brij brand in the market. As the first dedicated marketing hire, you will play a pivotal role in defining our voice, growing our presence, and building programs that elevate Brij as an industry leader. You'll bring a strong B2B marketing background, ideally from startup or high-growth environments, and come prepared with a playbook and point of view on what it takes to build momentum from the ground up.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our CEO/Co-Founder to craft thought leadership narratives, customer success stories, and high-impact campaigns. You'll also identify strategic opportunities for Brij executives to participate in industry panels, conferences, and speaking engagements. Over time, you’ll build and lead a growing marketing team, notably a content manager to help scale our initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute Brij’s B2B marketing strategy, owning brand positioning, messaging, and market presence
- Build the voice of Brij, and translate that into external communications and Brij CEO and Co-Founder,Kait Stephens, executive thought leadership
- Partner with Customer Success to capture and amplify customer stories and case studies that position Brij as an industry leader
- Identify high-value trade shows, conferences, speaking opportunities, and award programs to elevate Brij’s brand and leadership team
- Collaborate closely with Sales to inform and develop enablement tools and campaigns that support pipeline growth
- Build scalable marketing processes, infrastructure, and reporting to measure impact and drive efficiency
- Manage and mentor a content manager (once hired), and scale the marketing function as the business grows
- Develop content strategy across channels including blog, email, social, PR, and partner marketing
- Bring creativity and a bias for action to test, learn, and optimize campaigns quickly
- Stay ahead of B2B marketing trends, best practices, and tools to continuously uplevel our marketing efforts
Who You Are
You’re a strong fit for this role if you have:
- 5–8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in SaaS startup or fast-paced growth environments
- Strong written and verbal communicator with a sharp editorial eye
- Proven ability to build and execute marketing strategies from scratch, with a clear point of view on what works
- Experience working directly with founders or executive teams on thought leadership and brand positioning
- Skilled at transforming customer success stories into compelling narratives and assets
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also thinking strategically about long-term growth
- Experience managing or mentoring junior marketing team members is a plus
- Passion for building brands and making an outsized impact at an early-stage company
